All freshmen in The William States Lee College of Engineering are advised by advisors in the Office of Student Development and Success (Smith 228).  Students are required to see their advisor every semester in order to register for classes.

The freshman pre-advising period typically begins several weeks prior to the first day of freshman registration.  Advising and registration information is  announced in the ENGR 1201, ETGR 1201, and ENGR 1202 courses and through College bulletins (mass emails).  These students are strongly encouraged to read university e-mail regularly for these and other important announcements.
