Fifty-five new graduates and alumni publicly accepted the Obligation of an Engineer at the Order of the Engineer ceremony hosted by the National Society of Professional Engineers student section at the Lee College of Engineer on May 9th, 2009. 

Faculty, family, and friends witnessed the event where students received and will  continue to wear a steel ring on the little finger of their writing hand as a symbol of their acceptance of the obligation. The presiders of the event included Marc Bachman, NSPE President, Associate Dean Ron Smelser, Dr. Regina Guyer, Dr. Gary Wilson, and Dr. Martin Kane. The following engineers became part of the Order of the Engineer at the ceremony.
