Alumni 'Go For It' with NASCAR Truck Team

green_burton_1To make dreams come true, sometimes you just have to go for it. Three UNC Charlotte graduates are doing just that, having formed their own NASCAR truck team. With the UNC Charlotte logo proudly displayed on the hood, they got on the track and won some recognition in 2010, and are now looking for bigger things in 2011.

EPIC Scholars Program

Supported by businesses and individuals, the Lee College of Engineering’s EPIC Scholars Program is advancing the energy engineering education of UNC Charlotte students. An important aspect of the university’s Energy Production and Infrastructure Center, the EPIC Scholars Program has awarded 22 scholarships since 2008 and will award another 40 by 2015.
