The ASPE-UNCC committees are the executive arms of the organization. Joining one of our committees will provide you with the leadership and teamwork opportunities.
1) Social Activities Committee:
•Which shall plan and organize social activities such as habitat building and general trips.
•They will cooperate with UNCC social services organizations and Charlotte social service societies.
2) Industrial Tours Committee:
• Which shall cooperate with professors who recommend visiting certain companies.
• This committee will also contact some industrial locations of interest and arrange visits.
3) Sports Committee:
This committee shall formulate sports teams that can share in university intramurals.
4) Conference Committee:
Which shall collect information about conferences of interest. These information may include the conference organizer, topic, location, registration fees, deadlines..etc.
5) Media Committee:
Which shall initiate and implement ideas to publicize the ASPE-UNCC not just locally, but nationally and internationally.
Also, the same committee will be responsible about contacting the groups of interest (ASME, SPIE,..etc) and inform us about their activities.
6) International Committee:
The purpose of this committee is to open channels of cooperation with international organizations such as Association for Coordinate Metrology Canada, European Society for Precision Engineering and Nanotechnology (euspen).
