PCS - COE Personal Computer Support
Welcome to PCS Print

Welcome to the William States Lee College of Engineering Personal Computer Support page. This site contains valuable information for faculty, staff, and students pertaining to their personal computers. The PC Support Help Desk is located in Smith 226 and provides walk-in and phone support for William States Lee College of Engineering faculty, staff, and students. For a complete list of exactly what services and support we offer, see our Faculty & Staff Support page or our Student Support page.

We also offer PC & Mac system purchasing consultation for both incoming and current students, as well as guidance with campus-owned PC system purchasing by faculty and staff. Buying a computer can be a difficult process if the purchaser is not knowledgeable about their options. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns about an upcoming purchase.

Newly admitted William States Lee College of Engineering freshman students are required to own a laptop. Existing College of Engineering students and transfer students are encouraged to own and use a laptop, and will be provided the same support by PCS. While a home system won't have any Engineering software, it can be very useful for everyday school-related work. Students may also run Engineering applications via Mosaic's MosaicAnywhere remote desktop server pool.
