  • NOTE:  the Final Exam will be held in Denny 122 on Friday, December 17 from 8:00 - 11:00 a.m.

Week of Monday, December 6, 2004
  • A graduate student registered to take the advanced course next semester wants to buy a working board from anyone in the class who will not continue to the advanced course.  If you want to sell your board to him, contact Dr. Conrad and he will give you the student's email address.

 

Week of Monday, November 29, 2004
  • Dr. Conrad will be out of town on Wednesday, 12/1.  That time should be spent working on the lab 6 assignment.  The TA will be available in the lab to help.

    From Embedded.com:  As Arthur C. Clarke famously said, "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. "Technology has always been a boon to medical technology and today we re on the brink of even more astounding breakthroughs. We may not yet have developed nanobots to travel through the bloodstream and report back the state of things, but devices can be implanted in the human body to regulate and monitor a patient s health. Thanks to wireless RF, these devices can communicate information out to the doctor. You can read about it in The challenge of designing in-body communications.
